📣 PHYSICAL CARDS COMING SOON

Changing your PIN code is only available for physical cards, which are not yet available. They will be introduced in future versions of the IN1 app. Stay tuned for updates!

A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a numeric code consisting of 4 digits. It is used for confirming offline transactions or withdrawing money from an ATM.

How to change PIN in IN1 app?

  1. Tap the "Cards" icon in the main menu.

  2. Select the card for which you want to change the PIN code.

  3. Select "Change PIN".

  4. Confirm your identity using a passcode, fingerprint login or face ID.

  5. Create your new 4-digit PIN code.

  6. Confirm your PIN code by entering it again.

It is important to overwrite the PIN code on your card after each PIN code change. You can do this by checking your balance at the nearest ATM.

FAQ:

What is the difference between a PIN code and a passcode?

A PIN code is used to confirm offline card transactions, while a passcode is used to access the IN1 app, confirm operations within the app, and authorize online payments. A passcode is set at the account level, while a PIN code is set at the individual card level.

Can I use the same number for PIN and passcode?

While you can technically use the same number for both a PIN and a passcode, we strongly recommend against it for security reasons. Using different codes helps to protect your accounts and data more effectively.

Why am I not required to enter a PIN code after every POS transaction?

For contactless payments, you are not required to enter a PIN for transactions up to €50 or 100 PLN. Additionally, when using Google Pay or Apple Pay, you don’t need to enter a PIN, as the transaction is authenticated by logging into your device.

What happens if I enter the wrong PIN code multiple times?

After three incorrect attempts, your card will be blocked. In this case, please contact our Customer care team so we can unblock your card.
