SEPA is one of the easiest and most efficient ways to top up your IN1 account with euros. You can also receive a SEPA transfer from people outside of IN1.
With IN1, you can enjoy unlimited free incoming SEPA payments on both the Basic and Premium plans. To learn more about SEPA, follow this link.
Topping up your IN1 account with a SEPA payment is really simple. Just make sure to enter your name, country, and IBAN correctly when initiating the payment.
Here's how to find your IBAN:
On your Home tab, go to the Accounts section of your euro account and tap "Add".
On the Select deposit method screen, choose "Bank transfer".
If you have one euro account, your IBAN and other important details will appear on the Account details screen. If you have multiple euro accounts, you'll be asked to select which account you want to use before seeing your IBAN.
You can simply copy your IBAN by tapping the copy icon next to it on the Account details screen. Alternatively, you can copy all your bank info at once by tapping "Share", and then "Copy".
Use the copied IBAN to initiate a SEPA transfer in your financial institution's app or online banking.
As soon as your payment arrives in your IN1 account, we'll send a push notification to let you know.
FAQ:
How long does a SEPA transfer take?
SEPA transfers are quick, usually taking just 1 business day to complete.
My SEPA payment hasn't arrived. What should I do?
If the typical transfer time has passed and you still haven't received the payment, follow these steps:
Download the payment confirmation (most banks can generate this document through their app or online banking).
Double-check that all the details in the confirmation match those in your IN1 app, ensuring that your name is spelled correctly and the IBAN is complete and accurate, including all letters and numbers.
If everything is correct, contact our Customer Care team and share the payment confirmation. We'll do our best to locate the transfer for you.
What currencies are supported for SEPA transfers?
SEPA transfers are available only in euros and can be sent to and from banks and financial institutions that support the SEPA system. They provide a faster, cheaper, and more efficient way to transfer money within Europe.
Why don't I see my IBAN?
There may be a few reasons for this:
If your IN1 account hasn't been verified yet, some features may be restricted. Check this article for more details on account verification.
To access your IBAN in the IN1 app, you'll need an active euro balance with IN1. If you haven't created a euro account yet, you can set it up for free. Once your balance is created, your IBAN will be displayed.
Can I top up with a SWIFT transfer?
At the moment, SWIFT transfers are not available in the IN1 app. We're working on enabling this function in the future, so stay tuned!
