📣 IBANs and SEPA transfers are temporarily unavailable for new users.

IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standard code that helps identify individual bank accounts globally. It's used for both international and domestic transfers across Europe and many countries worldwide, ensuring faster, accurate, and seamless transfers.

IBAN can be up to 34 characters long. The first two are letters indicating your bank's home country, and the rest are numbers representing details about your bank account.

When sending or receiving money internationally, you'll need to provide some key details, one of which is your IBAN. The IN1 customers get a dedicated IBAN in EUR for free when they sign up for either the Basic or Premium plan. Please note that each customer can create only one IBAN account.

To find your IBAN in the IN1 app, just follow these steps:

  1. On your Home tab, go to the Accounts section of your euro account and tap "Add".

  2. On the Select deposit method screen, choose "Bank transfer".

  3. If you have a single Euro account with an assigned IBAN, the required details will appear on the Account details screen. If you have multiple EUR accounts and one of them has an assigned IBAN, you will be prompted to select the account with the IBAN.

  4. Tap "Share".

  5. Choose the payer from the list or pick the messenger you'd like to use to send your account information.

Note: You can also copy individual details by tapping the copy icon next to each piece of information on the Account details screen. Alternatively, you can copy all your bank info at once by tapping "Share", and then selecting "Copy".

Make sure to provide the correct IBAN so your money reaches the right account.

FAQ:

I have just registered with the IN1 app. Why don't I see my IBAN?

IBANs and SEPA transfers are temporarily unavailable for new users. We plan to reintroduce IBANs in the future. You can still open euro accounts and use them to top up by card or Apple Pay, as well as send money to IN1 cards and external cards.

I'm an existing IN1 customer. Can I use SEPA transfers?

Yes, if you already have an account with an IBAN, you can continue sending and receiving SEPA transfers. However, creating new IBAN accounts is temporarily unavailable.

What information should I provide to receive a bank transfer?

For a SEPA transfer, you'll need to share your name, country, and IBAN with the sender. For more details on receiving a bank transfer, click here.

Does IN1 provide IBANs for any currency accounts?

Currently, IN1 offers IBANs for euro accounts only. Each customer can have only one IBAN account. We're working on expanding IBANs to other currencies in the future, so stay tuned!

What kind of transfers can I use my IBAN for?

You can use your IBAN to receive money within Europe through SEPA transfers. The sender's bank must support the SEPA system. SEPA transfers typically take up to 2 business days and may involve additional fees. For more information, check out this article.

I haven't received my SEPA payment, what should I do?

If the typical transfer time has passed and you still haven't received the payment, follow these steps:

  1. Ask the sender to provide the payment confirmation (most banks can generate this document through their app).

  2. Double-check that all the details in the confirmation match those in your IN1 app, ensuring that your name is spelled correctly and the IBAN is complete and accurate, including all letters and numbers.

  3. If everything is correct, send us the payment confirmation, and we'll do our best to locate the transfer for you.

  4. If we're unable to locate it on our end, please reach out to the sender's bank and ask them to investigate the transfer.
